Israeli forces Monday shot and injured a Palestinian stone-gravel worker to the east of the town of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, WAFA correspondent reported.
The 26-year-old worker who collects gravel was rushed into a hospital in nearby Beit Hanoun, where medics described his condition as stable.
Palestinians in the blockaded coastal enclave are forced to collect small stones in borderline areas to make gravel for concrete, due to the tight restrictions by Israeli authorities on the entry of concrete to Gaza.
Israeli frequently open fire at farmers and other civilians inside the Gaza Strip if they attempt to approach borderline areas, deemed off-s to Palestinians.
