Ramallah - Arab Today

The three major Palestinian dailies focused in their Tuesday issue on Israel’s demolition of eight Palestinian homes in the West Bank.

The dailies said Israeli authorities demolished three homes in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, belonging to three Palestinians who were accused of shooting and killing an Israeli policeman and injuring two others in Jerusalem about two months ago.

Meanwhile, al-Hayat al-Jadida said, in its main news story, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed it will refer the case of Abed al-Fattah al-Sharif, who was killed in cold blood by Israeli soldier in Hebron, to the International Crime Court.

A Palestinian delegation is heading to Hague in Brussels to accelerate investigations in Israel’s crimes by the International Crime Court.

Al-Ayyam and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported that Israel Electric Corporation set a two-hour power cut schedule for parts of Bethlehem district on Wednesday.

Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported that Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah called on the European Union to recognize the State of Palestine, and to ban the products of Israeli settlements in accordance with international law.

Al-Hayat Al-Jadida and Al-Ayyam said Israel notified the United Nations about banning the entry of cement to the blockaded Gaza strip.

Al-Ayyam said that Israeli authorities intensified secret excavations under Al-Aqsa Mosque, and are expanding the tunnel network beneath the holy site.

Al-Ayyam reported that a Palestinian kid was seriously injured with live ammunition in the head by Israeli forces in Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya.
