Israeli occupation forces have blocked sub roads connecting between Beit Awwa town and neighborhoods of southwestern Hebron governorate.
Local sources noted that the occupation forces used dirt mounds to block a road that connects the towns of Beit Awwa and Deir Samet to the villages of al-Majd, Sikka, Beit al-Roush, Deir al-Asal and others.
A month ago, the occupation forces had set up a metal gate to close main roads that lead to several villages in the southwest of Hebron, the sources pointed out.
Unknown people attacked on Friday night a historical site in the town of Sebastia, in the north of Nablus and destroyed a number of historical stones in the 2,100 years old archaeological site.
In a statement on Saturday, Sebastia's mayor Mohammad Azem said that the crime was committed while Israeli forces were present in the area to provide protection for Jewish settlers who held celebrations at the site.
Israeli authorities are trying to control the site and not to allow local authorities to carry out restoration works, added Azem.
