A senior Israeli official said on Wednesday that the world powers are withholding from Israel major parts of the nuclear agreement with Iran, contrary to assurances.
Yossi Cohen, head of Israel's National Security Council, said in a statement that Israel has yet to receive all of the annexes to the agreement.
Cohen said the lack of entire chapters of the accord makes it impossible for Israel to fully assess the security ramifications of the deal on the Jewish state. "We don't have the whole picture," he said.
Israel is a vocal opponent of the deal, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu termed as "a historic mistake."
In a recent public statement, Netanyahu said that lifting the sanctions on the Islamic republic means "hundreds of billions of dollars to bankroll its aggression in the region."
The nuclear agreement announced on June 14 in Vienna between Iran and the P5+1 -- the United States, Britain, China, Germany, France and Russia -- puts Iran on a path of sanctions relief but imposes stricter limits on its nuclear program.
