Israeli police have arrested 60 Palestinian workers in Jalilee district in northern Israel under the pretext of not having licenses to enter the country.

In a statement released on Monday, the Israeli police said 40 Palestinians were arrested from Sakhnien and its surroundings and 20 others from Shafa Omr.

According to Israeli statistics, almost 100,000 Palestinians, who are residents of the occupied West Bank, are working inside Israel, 40 percent of whom do not obtain work permits.
