Jewish settlers renew intrusion on Aqsa Mosque

 Jewish gangs continued Monday to thrust into Al Aqsa mosque under the protection of police and other settlers.

The storming took place from Bab al Maghareba gate amidst shouting by worshipers inside the mosque in rejection of the settlers' intrusion.

The so-called Temple Mount organizations had called on their supporters to storm the mosque on the occasion of the Jewish feast, Shavuot.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Information Ministry dubbed growing Israeli settlers' attacks against Al Aqsa Mosque during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan as an act of terrorism.

In a press release, the ministry urged UNESCO to pressure Israel to stop religious terrorism, provide proper protection to Muslim and Christian sanctuaries and prevent Jewish rituals at Al Aqsa Mosque.
