Palestinians won't give Israel a chance to militarize intifada to put it out

General Secretary of the Palestine National Initiative (PNI) Mostafa Barghouti said Palestinian people would not give Israel a chance to militarize the peaceful popular intifada to find pretexts to put it out.

In statements to MENA, Barghouti said the Palestinian people are well aware of the attempts of the Israeli occupation forces to push the popular intifada towards armed confrontations to find pretexts to hinder the intifada.

The popular intifada as well as the Palestinian factions would continue to heighten their peaceful uprising till the Palestinian people achieve a success in liberating their country from the Israeli occupation, he added.

Palestinians have no other way except resistance to restore the Palestinian state and their usurped rights, Barghouti said, asserting that the criminal acts of the Israeli occupants and their terrorism would never force the Palestinians to kneel down.

As per the Palestinian factions, Barghouti said Palestinian factions are involved in such uprising in a direct or indirect way, reiterating the necessity that factions should stand in the line of intifada and place high the Palestinian people's interests.

He also highlighted the importance of achieving reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas movements, highlighting the importance of inter-Palestinian agreement to achieve the targets of intifada. The popular pressure might this time succeed in uniting the Palestinian factions and achieve reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas.
