Attempts of the war party in Kiev to disrupt the current truce in the east of Ukraine should be cut short resolutely, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for human rights, democracy and supremacy of law Konstantin Dolgov said Wednesday.
“A UN report saying no less than 3,171 persons, including 27 children, had died in Ukraine prior to September 11, causes pain and concern,” Dolgov wrote on his Twitter microblog. “One cannot condone continued murders of innocent civilians in south-eastern Ukraine.”
“Attempts by the party of war in Kiev to disrupt the ceasefire should be interrupted most resolutely by those who are truly interested in putting an end to this bloodshed,” he said.
Dolgov assured the international community that Moscow continued following the results of monitoring in the sphere of human rights and supremacy of law, which the UN was conducting in Ukraine.
