Tunisia denies closing border crossing with Libya

Security sources at the Tunisian customs authority denied reports circulated on social networks that the Tunisian authorities closed down Ras Gadier border crossing with Libya. Libya Al-Mustaqbal website quoted a Libyan official as having said that the crossing is operating regularly and thousands of Tunisians, Libyans and other nationals are using it for various purposes. The official said such reports are untrue and they came in the wake of launching investigations with two customs employees over smuggling charges
