Aboutrika has 39 goals in 96 games for Egypt Cairo – Hossam Al Said Egyptian forward Mohamed Aboutrika looks set to feature in the country's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe on March 26, the Egyptian national team's medical chief, Tarek Suleiman has confirmed. Aboutrika, who plays for Emirati club Baniyas, has recovered from a muscle strain and is currently doing weight training ahead of the crucial qualifier at Alexandria's Borg el-Arab Stadium. Aboutrika joined the Pharaohs' training camp on Tuesday and will train for the rest of the week, before taking to pitch next Monday. The striker is also expected to feature in Egypt's friendly against Swaziland, after the game against Zimbabwe. Suleiman has also confirmed that defender Ahmed Hegazy, who currently plays for the Italian side Fiorentina, is training with the ball once again after undergoing an intense rehabilitation programme following cruciate ligament surgery. The 22-year old centre-back will join the national team's training sessions in two weeks. Hegazy had suffered a serious knee injury during training with Fiorentina in December.
