Coach of Egypt’s Ahly football team Hossam Al Badry revealed that his team will face a difficult match against Zanaco on Saturday in the framework of the group stage of CAF Champions League. He stressed his team’s keenness to win the coming match, saying that he told the players that it is important for the team to win the first match of the group stage.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the team should not abandon any points especially of the matches conducted in Egypt, saying that they will deal seriously with the matches from the beginning.
He stressed that Ahly’s ambitions are known for all fans and competitors, saying that they always play to win the championships whether on local or continental level. He expressed his desire to use the coming match against Zanaco to deliver a clear message to the other teams that Ahly insists to win CAF Champions League this season.
He stressed that his players enjoy the suitable experience to win CAF Champions League this season, saying that it is important for the team to win the first match in the group stage to take a step towards qualification for the coming round. He stressed that the competition will be difficult, while the players realize the responsibility on their shoulders, expressing his confidence that the players will meet the fans’ expectations.
The coach of the Egyptian team expressed his pleasure for the attendance of fans during the coming match, saying that he hopes that the fans will be allowed to attend the local matches of the Egyptian Premier League in the near future.
