Algiers – Khaled Alloush

FIFA credits Djebbour with helping Algeria qualify Algiers – Khaled Alloush A birthday message posted on FIFA’s website for Algeria and Olympiacos striker Rafik Djebbour has credited the player with helping Algeria qualify for the 2010 World Cup. Djebbour, who turns 29 on Friday, scored twice on Saturday, helping Olympiacos to a 4-0 win against OFI Crete. The result placed the Algerian national firmly at the top of goal-scoring tables and makes a third consecutive Superleague title more than likely for the Piraeus-based side. Djebbour has scored 20 goals this season, with a comfortable eight-goal lead over the competition. Djebbour will join the Algerian squad for a World Cup qualifier against Benin on March 26.
