Egyptian football team for the clinically deaf Cairo - Omar El Banouby Star of the Egyptian football team for the clinically deaf, Amr Wagdy, has said he is extremely happy to win the World Cup. The cup was held in Turkish capital Ankara from July 16 to 28. Wagdy said in a statement to Arabstoday: "We prepared very well for this, which is why we won." The star, whose teammates call him "Joker", added: "Our team have a number of wonderful qualified players, which was reflected in the finals." Wagdy is a key player in the Egypt's national football team for the dead, and his role includes defending, mid-field, and striking.
