Rabat - Said Ali

President of Moroccan Basketball Federation Mustafa Orash refuted the accusations against him of financial embezzlement, saying that the accusations promoted by the social media accounts are unfounded. He added, “They have no evidences against him. Such false news aims to impede our work.”
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that if anyone has clear evidences condemning him, he should submit them, stressing that he is ready to submit his resignation. He blamed former members of the federation for promoting such rumors in addition to a number of clubs’ officials, saying that they target him to achieve personal gains.
He added that he was summoned by Moroccan authorities for investigations, saying that the summon came upon a complaint accusing him of committing corruption. He added, “I completely deny the accusations against. I have also documents condemning those people who submitted the complaint.”
He added, “I call those people who accuse me of committing corruption to attend the General Assembly to reveal the violations about which they talk.”
