Al-Ahly midfielder Mido Gaber said that he is looking forward to have a chance to play with his team in the second round of the Egyptian League.
Gaber added that he does his best in the training sessions and he trusts Coach Hossam Al-Badry would give him the chance in the coming matches.
He noted that Al-Badri give the chance to all players fairly to play with the team, since he has returned to lead the Red Devils for the third time.
Gaber told Arabs Today that the presence in Al-Ahly is a great honor for any player and he knows well the difficulty of getting a chance to play in the presence of several talented players in the same position. However, Gaber asserted has the confidence that he can compete with his colleagues, saying that "the first goal of all players in Al-Ahly is to win all the local and continental titles in this year, which requires hard work and the continuous support of the fans, who always stand by their side."
Arabs Today asked Gaber whether he was worried to face the same fate of his previous colleague Ahmed El-Sheikh who moved to Misr Lel-Makkasa SC in last summer. He stressed that he does not think this way and he performs his training very well and develops his skills to earn a place in Al-Ahly's squad, expressing his hope to succeed with the team.
In regard with the possibility of leaving Al-Ahly on loan in January transfer window, Gaber asserted that he does not want to leave Al-Ahly, but he would follow any decision by the club's management in the next period, as he respects the management and technical staff of Al-Ahly.
Gaber concluded that the Egyptian national team can achieve great results in the Africa Cup of Nations 2017, held in Gabon, pointing out that they have the skills and expertise that qualifies them to win the title after they could not qualify to the last three edition of AFCON, despite being the only team which won seven African titles.
