Sven Goran Eriksson Bangkok - Agencies Former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson, is moving to Thailand to become technical director of Premier League side BEC Tero Sasana. The club announced Monday that the 64 year old Swede will supervise training sessions and work on the strategy of the Bangkok based team. The salary was not disclosed. His initial contract runs until the end of the current season finishing next month. Eriksson was England’s first foreign coach from 2001 to 2006. He said he hoped to help raise Thai football standards. “If I can help the team it will be good. It is my first time in Asia and I am very excited to see the games,” he said.
