Mahalla Club player Ahmed Magdy Cairo - Omar El Banouby Memer of Egypt's Olympic football team and Mahalla Club player Ahmed Magdy denied that he was in formal talks for a transfer to Zamalek. Majdi said in a telephone interview with "Arabstoday" that negotiations with Zamalek were not official so far, saying only his agent was involved in talks of a possible move to the White Castle. Magdy revealed he was anticipating several European offers and the Ghazl Mahalla club soon. Magdy was a star player of the Egyptian football team at the Olympics, helping the Pharaohs reach the quarterfinals before the team was defeated by Japan 3-0.
