At least one person is dead and 22 more are injured after two explosions late Thursday at a Thai tourist resort, officials said.
According to Police Commander Kasana Jamswang of Prachuap Kiri Khan Province Police, two blasts occurred shortly before midnight at the popular Thai tourist resort of Hua Hin, 198 kilometers south of Bangkok.
Kasana told reporters that one Thai vendor was dead and four more were in critical condition. At least 22 people have been sent to hospital with injuries.
Kasana said police are not treating the blast as an accident and will be sending in Explosive Ordinance Disposal Units (EODs) to investigate.
