Two little girls abducted by their non-custodial parents were found in Mexico, the U.S. Marshals Service said Friday. Marshals Service investigators and Pima County (Ariz.) Sheriff's Department detectives worked with law enforcement in Mexico to recover two girls, ages 1 and 2, Thursday in Hermosillo, Sonora state. Authorities allege Luis Fernando Palacio, 26, fled to Mexico with his 2-year-old daughter last November after being ordered to return her to the child's mother. In January, Danielle Nicole Lovemore, 22, allegedly kidnapped her 1-year-old daughter, who was in the care of Child Protective Services, and was believed to have gone to Mexico to reunite with Palacio. Police in Marana, Ariz., filed a felony arrest warrant for Lovemore, charging her with custodial interference. Lovemore and the two children were located at a Hermosillo home Thursday after being tracked there by Mexican law enforcement, the Marshals Service said in a release. Lovemore was deported to the United States Thursday night and the children were being cared for by the U.S. State Department's American Citizens Services. Lovemore was being held in the Pima County Jail. Palacio's whereabouts were not reported by authorities.
