Three young men were found fatally shot Thursday morning outside a home in the US state of Texas, local media reported. The discovery was made about 10 a.m. Central Standard Time ( 1600 GMT) in a neighborhood in northwest Harris County, the largest county of the state, the Houston Chronicle quoted the county sheriff's office as saying. Investigators said they were called to the scene after gunshots were heard in the area. When they arrived, they found two males, one white and one black, inside a white Ford Mustang. Investigators found a handgun and less than a pound of marijuana in the car. The third victim was a black male lying in a parking area of a park. A handgun was seen on the ground next to the body. All the victims appear to be in their mid-20s. The shooting disturbed residents in the neighborhood considered as safe and peaceful. "I heard like four or five gun shots and then I heard sirens. I came out and saw police flying down the street, and that's what it is," Jackie Rangel, a neighbor, said. "Usually it's pretty safe," Anthony Sidney, another neighbor told the press. "I think we have one of the safest neighborhoods." Investigators said it is still unclear what the motive for the shooting is. No suspect was identified in the incident.
