A passenger ship carrying 67 people, including crew members, caught fire off central Philippines shortly before noon Sunday, resulting to the death of three people, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said. M/V Island Fastcraft 1 of the Island Shipping Corp. was sailing four nautical miles (7.41 kilometers) off port Tubigon in Bohol province when fire razed the ship at around 11:30 a.m., the PCG said, adding the vessel came from Cebu City port and was on its way to Tubigon port. Rescue operation was ongoing as authorities conducted an investigation into the cause of the fire.
