5 Killed, 4 injured in road accident in NW Russia

Five people were killed and another four injured in a road accident in the Leningrad Region in northwest Russia, the regional emergencies center said on Sunday. “A road accident occurred between two buses and two cars,” the emergencies center said. The accident occurred on Sunday morning in the Vyborg district. The circumstances and the causes of the accident are being investigated. According to statistics, 30,000 people lose their lives in traffic accidents every year in Russia due to the poor state of highway networks and reckless driving.
