At least six passengers have been killed and more than 100 passengers were injured in a train accident near the Pakistani city of Multan, officials said early Thursday.
The passenger train, which was en route to the country’s southern port city of Karachi from northwest Peshawar city, hit into the cargo train, about 15 minutes after leaving the Bucch Railway station in Multan, a district of Punjab province, Dunyanews reported.
The injured are being shifted to various hospitals of the city by rescue teams.
