A British military helicopter made a crash landing while training in the Arizona desert Saturday, and all seven people aboard survived, the U.S. military said. None of the injuries were life threatening, Public Affairs Officer Michelle Dee of Naval Air Facility El Centro told the Imperial Valley Press in El Centro, Calif. It wasn't known why the Chinook helicopter "experienced a desert landing mishap" about 1:30 p.m. during what the spokeswoman described as a routine training exercise. The British chopper was operating out of Naval Air Facility El Centro when the incident occurred about 15 miles northeast of Yuma, Ariz., Dee said.
