A bus traveling in Indian on Monday crashed rolled 150 feet down a hillside, killing seven people and injuring a number of others, officials said. The bus was traveling from Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu and driving towards Munnar with 41 students from the Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology aboard when it swerved off the road and down the hill, the Indo-Asian News Service reported. Six students were killed, as well as an elderly man who was part of the bus crew. Several people were injured, including two people who were in serious condition, the news report said. State Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said the medical expenses of those who were injured would be covered by the government. "Right now, our aim is to see that the injured get the best treatment and authorities are ensuring that," Radhakrishnan said. The cause of the incident was not reported.
