The parents of a 12-year-old Dutch boy who was kidnapped a week ago said Thursday their son had been safely returned to the family. Nayati Moodliar was walking to his Mont Kiara International School located in a posh suburb near the capital Kuala Lumpur last Friday when he was kidnapped by two men who bundled him into a car. "To all our family/friends/supporters of Nayati. We have got NAYATI back. He is back (in) our arms again. Thank you all for your support! -- Moodliar Family," they said in a Facebook posting. The family's ordeal came to an end early Thursday after Nayati, who has dual Dutch and South African nationality, was found near a township just north of Kuala Lumpur, the Star newspaper said. It was not clear whether a ransom had been paid to secure his release. Police could not immediately be reached for comment. "As we are sure you will understand, Nayati's kidnapping is the subject of an ongoing investigation. So we are unfortunately not at liberty to reveal any of the details of the case at this stage," the family said.
