At least six people are dead and more than 120 more wounded after two car bombs exploded near police stations in eastern Turkey early Thursday morning, VOA reported.
The first car bombing took place in Van province, killing a police officer and two civilians and wounding dozens more, including 20 police officers.
A few hours later, another car bomb exploded in the garden of the Elazig police station, killing three people and injuring at least 100 others.
No group has yet to claim responsibility for the attacks, but authorities have placed the blame on Kurdish militants who have carried out similar attacks in eastern Turkey in recent months.
Video footage of the second bombing scene shows large clouds of smoke rising from outside the police headquarters and a number of cars that had been flipped over by the explosion. Windows in the building had also been blown out.
