Three Moroccan nationals have been injured during the Las Ramblas attack in Barcelona Thursday evening. According to the Moroccan embassy in Madrid, one of the victims is a 6-year-old child in a critical medical state.

The victims are a 43-year-old woman residing in Spain and a man with his 6-year-old son living in Montpellier who were on holiday in Barcelona.

The three Moroccan victims were immediately admitted to the hospitals of Barcelona, where they are currently receiving medical care.

The Moroccan boy was mowed over by the white van used in the attack of Barcelona and is in “very critical” state according to the embassy.

The victims of the attacks on Thursday and Friday in Catalonia are of at least 35 nationalities: 13 people were killed in the attack in Las Ramblas, and one succumbed to his injuries in the Cambrils attack near Tarragona. In total, the twin attacks left more than 100 injured.

The Spanish authorities announced earlier this Friday that the identities of the victims would be revealed only after the end of the identification process and that the families would be the first to be informed.

The Spanish police are currently looking for four fugitives in connection with the attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils. They are four individuals of Moroccan origin, aged 17, 18, 22, and 24, according to the Spanish media La Vangardia, quoting a document obtained from the investigators.

For the time being, Moussa Oubakir is the main suspect, currently sought as the driver of the van that rammed into the crowd in Las Ramblas.

Another Moroccan was added to the list of people arrested since the attack, a 21-year-old man who was injured in the explosion that occurred on the eve of the Alcanar bombings
