A former student of Oikos University has been arrested on suspicion of killing seven people in a shooting spree at the college in the US state of California. The 43-year-old One Goh of Oakland was arrested at Alameda's South Shore Center after the incident, which also left three people wounded. Goh was a former nursing student and was upset because of being dismissed from the school. The suspect shot and killed his victims in an execution-style on Monday. Oakland Police Chief Howard Johnson said the South Korean national had entered a classroom, told the students to line up against a wall, and then shot them. Oakland mayor Jean Quan said most of the victims were Korean. "This is the kind of situation where we need to pull together to support the Korean community in particular," Quan said. "I hope we will put our arms around these people and this community." The shooting was the deadliest outburst of gun violence at a US school since a Virginia Tech student shot and killed 32 people in a 2007 massacre on that campus before killing himself.
