A Chinese man has been arrested for the murder of six people including four colleagues in a killing spree sparked by an argument at a chemical factory in Shanghai, state media said. The 62-year-old suspect, identified only by his family name Fan, is accused of beating one of his co-workers to death on Saturday and fleeing with a hunting rifle, according to the official Xinhua news agency. He allegedly killed a driver and a guard at a military barracks before returning to the factory and shooting dead three more colleagues. He was captured by police late on Saturday, according to the report, which said the deadly rampage was triggered by an "economic dispute". Shootings are rare in China where firearms possession is illegal for individuals.
