Four Asian workers died, while 29 others sustained different injuries in a road accident on Sha’am-Remes Road in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday evening. Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Ras Al Khaimah Police, Colonel Abdullah Ali Menkhis, said a light vehicle driven by an Emirati coming from Sha’am to Remes city swerved suddenly to the other lane of the road and collided with a bus belonging to a cleaning company. The bus, which was carrying 32 workers, overturned and crashed into a light post in the median. The Emirati motorist had no injuries.
