Ankara - Xinhua

Turkey's Constitutional Court on Wednesday re-elected Hasim Kilic as its president, the semi- official Anatolia news agency reported. Kilic received 13 of the 17 votes and was re-elected the president of the top court, according to the report. Kilic will head the Constitutional Court for a second term until he retires on March 13, 2015 due to age limit. Born in the Cicekdagi town of the central province of Kirsehir in 1950, Kilic served as a deputy inspector, inspector and chief inspector at the Court of Account, and was elected as a member of the Constitutional Court in 1990. Hasim Kilic was elected the acting president of the top court in December 1999, and assumed the position in December 2003. Kilic was elected the president of the Constitutional Court in October 2007.
