French President Francois Hollande and his US Counterpart Barack Obama, during a phone call Tuesday, agreed to strengthen security cooperation against ISIS threat.
According to a statement issued by the French presidency, Hollande and Obama also discussed the attack that targeted a police officer and his wife in a Paris suburb.
Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to degrading and destroying ISIS and standing against the broader scourge of terrorism, The White House said.
