At least 10 people have been injured as a terraced house in Greater Manchester was heavily damaged in a massive explosion, Sky News reported on Tuesday.
Both the front and back of the house collapsed in the incident which occurred at around 5 a.m. local time on Tuesday, according to the report.
TV images have shown that the blast also affected neighboring properties, of which bricks fell off and windows were damaged.
Among the casualties, three suffered severe burns and lacerations while the others had minor injuries, the report added.
Three people were reportedly inside the property at the time of the explosion, the broadcaster quoted incident commander at the scene Alan Ashworth, as saying.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion, said Ashworth.
