A US Marine Osprey crashed during an international military exercise in Morocco, killing two Marines and injuring two others, the US African Command said. The command said in a statement the aircraft was flying from the USS Iwo Jima to a "military training area southwest of Agadir" when it went down Wednesday, Military.com reported. The four Marines involved were aboard the Osprey, military officials said. Capt. Kendra Hardesty, a Marine Corps spokeswoman, said the crash is under investigation. Military.com said the Osprey was part of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based in North Carolina, which was participating in an annual exercise with Moroccan forces.
