Law-enforcers in Ingushetia are ascertaining the identity of the suicide bomber who blasted himself as police entered a yard in the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya earlier on Friday. The republic's investigative bodies said they have preliminary information that the suicide bomber is a resident of Chechnya. The house owner has been detained on suspicion of connection to militants. The suicide bomber triggered his explosive device as police entered the yard of a private house in Chkalov Street at 07:00, Moscow time, killing himself and wounding a police officer. The policeman was rushed in hospital. His life is not in danger, doctors said.
