Suspected Taliban militants have blown up a school in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province, a private TV channel reported.Samaa TV reported that militants planted explosives inside Government High School No-1 in Charsadda city on Friday and later blew them up. No one was injured as the school was closed at the time of the blast. The explosion, however, damaged several rooms and boundary walls of the school. This was the sixth school, which was targeted by militants this year, in Charsadda. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. But the authorities blame Taliban militants for attacks on schools. Taliban are accused of destroying hundreds of schools, mostly in Pakistan's northwest and the tribal regions, during their campaign against the government.
