The crash occurred around 11:20am on Wednesday hundreds of feet from the West Gary Lighthouse Charter School, the Chicago Tribune reported. Gary Fire Department Capt. Don Parker told The Post-Tribune of Northwest Indiana two bodies were thrown from the burning wreckage which was scattered over a 40-square-foot area.
