Sydney Ferries will shut down services for a few hours on Tuesday due to workers' stop-work meeting, the New South Wales Transport Management Center (TMC) said on Monday. The meetings will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday, but ferry services will be disrupted from about 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (local time), according to a TMC spokeswoman. "As Sydney Ferries staff are spread across various locations, suspending services for a short period is the best way to minimize disruptions to passengers," she said. Peak morning and afternoon services won't be affected and passengers will be permitted to use their tickets. Passengers will be permitted to use their ferry tickets to catch trains and Sydney Buses on Tuesday and free shuttle buses will replace ferry services between the northern Sydney suburb of Manly and Circular Quay in Sydney's central business district.
