Police in Thailand said they have seized a haul of methamphetamine pills worth almost US $6 million (3.8 million British pounds), supposedly en route to Bangkok and eventually Europe. The discovery was over one million pills was made at a checkpoint in northern Chiang Rai province in the Golden Triangle Region. Small packages of the drug, known as crystal meth were hidden in the roof of a pickup truck. Virat Sumanaphan, deputy provincial police chief told AFP that the haul had an estimated value of up to £3.80 per pill. Three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking
