Tehran - FNA

A Eurolines tourist bus night ride on A9 highway driving from France’s Marseille to Spain’s Murcie ended in catastrophe. For so far unknown reason at around 1:30am the bus fell on its side and then rolled five meters down the slope, RT reported. One Spaniard and a French citizen have been proclaimed dead, reportedly 30 were injured, and three of them remain in a critical condition. The injured have been evacuated by four medical helicopters and 20 emergency vehicles. There were 44 people aboard: 41 passengers (French, Spanish, Ukrainian and at least one Russian) and three drivers. The driver behind the wheel has been checked and proclaimed sober. Police has voiced two possible causes of the tragedy, a dangerous maneuver of an oncoming vehicle and a quarrel between the bus driver and one of the passengers.
