Turkish Soldier killed in boat explosion off Turkey

One soldier was killed and two others injured in an explosion that occurred on a boat off the Mediterranean coast of the southern province of Hatay early Sunday, Daily News reported.
The explosion, which injured two people, including a soldier, occurred as Coastal Guard teams were approaching a boat suspected of carrying dead bodies, according to a fisherman vessel's call. The explosion caused panic among residents in Samandag district of Hatay.
The two injured in the blast have been taken to a nearby hospital, and Samandag District Governor Cahit Celik said investigations into the incident are underway.
