Egyptian television presenter Aya- Al-Abnudi Cairo - Al Sayed Khalaf Allah Egyptian television presenter Aya- Al-Abnudi has postponed her upcoming programme, Ahsan Nas (The Best People). Typically a political reporter on MBC 1, Al-Abdnudi has switched to the entertainment genre and is awaiting the perfect moment to make her debut – prompting her to push back its release date. The new show will air on MBC Egypt, the TV personality told Arabstoday in interview. Ahsan Nas will explore behind the scenes of the Egyptian entertainment industry. The programme will also feature interviews from various figures in the profession. Al-Abnudi revealed that she enjoys creative control over the content and is supported fully by her production team. She added that her mother, Nihal Kamal - who heads MBC Egypt - has given her guidance and advice which has helped her deal with the new pressures. She expressed that it has always been her desire to host entertainment programmes. But Al-Abnudi plans to continue presenting her political programme as well. Currently under production, the show is set to debut during the holy month of Ramadan in July.
