Cairo – Sarah Refaat

Media host Mofida Shiha expressed her happiness about her new radio program “Argument for sale” and the audience and her colleagues reactions to the program. She was excited about it when she heard its concept because it helped her to show her real personality. She also chose the name of the program to suit this personality.

She said during an interview with “Arab Today” that, the program discuses social issues in a comic way that everyone will accept, and she is also happy because she was given the chance to sing the program song.

She is proud of her TV program “Women can’t lie” because it discusses women issues along with some other current issues. She believes that the program success is due to its simplicity and content that Egyptians can relate to, as she and her co-workers Mona Abdel Ghani and Suheir Joudeh use simple ways of discussions, and the program has a hard working editing team.

She said that, she isn’t thinking about leaving CBC channel because she sees it as her second home although she received many offers. She also refuses to host a political show because she believes this kind of shows have their own experts who should host them, and she has been always fond of social and talk shows not political ones.

She has been always a bad cooker, but she learned how to cook through her show “Mofida and the chef” with Chef El Sherbini. She also managed to lose a lot of weight   by eating healthy food with low fats. She also wished that Egypt will have a better future and the authorities will be able to stop terrorism confirming that, Egypt will always remain the home of safety and security.
