Leading luxury hotel and resort marketing specialist SweetBeam has revealed its latest hotel industry intelligence. The results demonstrate the likely revenue increase due to the expected surge in family visitors to Dubai in the run up to 2020.

The research was conducted over a random sample of luxury Dubai hotels across a two-year period. It showed that on average there was almost an equal number of business vs. leisure guest nights (49 per cent vs. 51 per cent). Of the leisure guests, while just 31 per cent of rooms were booked by families.

Kazakhstan plans to adopt Dubai model

The Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), an initiative of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, shared its experience and expertise in settling commercial disputes during a meeting between Dr Habib Al Mulla, Chairman, Board of Trustees, DIAC, and the visiting high-level delegation headed by Baimoldina Zauresh Khamitovna, Deputy Minister of Justice, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The official Kazakhstan delegation consisting of officials of Department of Legislation of the Ministry of Justice and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the UAE, was received by Dr. Habib Al Mulla, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dubai International Arbitration Centre.

The Kazakh delegation visit came in the framework of exchanging of experiences and know-how with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, which is one of the world's leading centres for commercial arbitration and has, since its inception, been promoting the importance of arbitration in stimulating the business environment of Dubai and the region.
