Bugra Berberoglu Emirates Palace has announced the appointment of Bugra Berberoglu to the position of new General Manager to the $ 3.1 billion property
.With a distinguished career in hospitality spanning over 15 years, Berberoglu brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Abu Dhabi’s iconic property. Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Berberoglu said, “Emirates Palace is a jewel among hotels, a symbol of exemplary luxury and hospitality excellence unmatched in distinction and elegance around the world. It is a great honour and challenge to take on the role of General Manager of such a fine property, and I fully intend to continue and build upon its status as one of the most luxurious hotels in the world”. Prior to his appointment at Emirates Palace, Berberoglu spent 3 years heading the Kempinski Ishtar Hotel in Dead Sea Jordan as well as Regional Director for the Levant region, overseeing a number of fine hotels in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. In close to 15 years of outstanding service in the hotel industry, Berberoglu’s sterling career has included various key executive positions in the past in Puerto Rico, Miami and Chicago and with his current company, Kempinski in Djibouti and Chad. Fluent in Turkish, French and English, Berberoglu graduated from Hotel Management School in Lausanne in Switzerland.
