Al-Arish Airport Sinaa – Yosry Mohamed The Director of Al-Arish Airport Mohamed Abdou said that the airport received a 52-passenger Fokker aircraft on Sunday evening, belonging to Palestinian Airlines. The flight flew from Jordan with 25 Palestinian workers living in Jordan on board. The plane reportedly returned to Jordan at 1800 hrs on Sunday. The first aircraft chartered by Palestinian Airlines arrived at Al-Arish airport on May 9. The airline will fly twice weekly, while trips could increase depending on demand. The flights are designed to ease the 400km trip for Gaza Strip residents between the Rafah crossing and Cairo Airport.
