Niger's Minister of Interior, Public Security, Decentralization and Customary and Religious Affairs, Massaoudou Hassoumi, visited Sunday in Algiers, the National Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology of the National Gendarmerie, which he dubbed "pride" for Algeria and Africa.
"This institute is a pride for Algeria and Africa, and a source of inspiration," Hassoumi told press during his visit to this institution created pursuant to a presidential decree in June 2004.
"I am impressed by this institute which certainly enhances the security and independence of Algeria," said Hassoumi who was accompanied by the Director of Planning and Finance at the National Gendarmerie, General Kamel Snoussi, Director of the Institute, Colonel Sid Ahmed Beroumana, as well as the Chief of staff of the ministry of Interior and Local Authorities, Brahim Djefal.
"We hope to build such an institution one day," he said.
