Asia Pulhabal creates earrings from denim

The Algerian accessories designer Asia Pulhabal creates her own designs from fabric, leather, buttons, jeans and paper.

The artist revealed during an interview with “ Arab Today” her craft secrets, saying that she created a unique way to design jewelries, using fabric, leather, zippers, pieces of jeans, buttons, and paper as raw materials to make earrings and bracelets.

She said that she always loved wool and sewing, and with the help of her mother and grandmother, she developed her passion for designing, adding that her first piece was a necklace with wool circles.

She also uses dates bones, dried citrus peel like orange, and precious stones like volcanic stones in her designs, saying that she is aiming to create unique and unfamiliar accessories. These accessories were great success especially among tourists who love handmade works. Asia received many national prices for her distinction in accessories designing field , and she also participated in many national exhibitions, wishing her works will be internationally promoted
