Fashion designer John Galliano
Washington - Arabstoday

Fashion designer John Galliano Washington - Arabstoday   John Galliano for Topshop? Rumor has it in the fashion world today that the ex-Dior fashion designer will be teaming up with the famous high street brand to design his own collection, but close sources to Sir Philip Green say otherwise. Green stated that he did indeed meet John Galliano  at Kate Moss’s wedding, having designed the wedding dress, but did not talk business with Galliano during or after the wedding. More rumors claim that the Arcadia boss, Green, is said to wanting to give Galliano a chance into getting back into the Fashion world, and designing a collection for Topshop; which comes after Green designed Kate Moss’s wedding dress. It is suspected that the strong presence of fashion icons at Moss’s wedding was the reason for inspiring this move, although no serious talk has yet taken place. Galliano interned with Topshop when he was still a fashion student himself. If the deal between Green and Galliano goes ahead then it will be the biggest in the fashion world since H&M’s collaboration with Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld, and even Stella McCartney, and let snot forget Topshop’s own collaboration with Christopher Kane and Moss herself. This would be a turning point in Galliano’s life if it were to happen. The designer is currently awaiting trial for his anti-Semitism charges in Paris last month. If Green were really to collaborate with Galliano, it would be an ironic move, as Green is the biggest Jewish businessman in the region.
